Hello Helene. As explained upon your arrival, Housekeeping was extremely busy that day and needed a little more time to prepare all the rooms. As discussed upon your departure, our staff work very hard to make our guests feel comfortable. If you had come to reception to tell us that you were not happy with your room/bed we could have found an alternative for you. Likewise, had we known that you were having trouble with the hot water, we could have done something about it. The check in card which you read and signed upon arrival, states clearly that check out is at 10am. We offer the option of a late check at an additional charge of 25.The lift repair is in hand.

Hi David, thank you for taking the time to wright your review, apologies for the delay in check-in we had to staff members not being able to make work due to an incident out of thier control, however, we tried are best to not let this have to much of a knock on effect to our lovely guest, it did effect 4 couples who was served a ice cold complementary drink from the bar, not sure where the small families have came in to the check in, as we only have one family room who was already check in the day before. check in times are 3pm, which am sure you will agree is in line with most hotels.we are very fortunate to have to local council car parks which are located just 165yrd s from the hotel, and if that's not enough, it is free from 6m till 10am in the morning.we do hope to see you again soon

Hi Lee, so sorry you was not happy with your view from your room, I do believe this was the only area of your stay that you was not happy with as you spoke with myself and was offered a lovely bottle of wine, 65.00 for a double room with view and our breakfast is 10.00 per person for continental and hot buffet of sausages, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, beans, scrabbled eggs and bread for toasting.

Hello Christopher. Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed our hotel. Your comments on the food have been noted. Our car park is small because the hotel was built before cars were invented. However, there are two large car parks close by.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we are unable to control our guests' crying children. The "random event" downstairs was an open air theatre production. We let them perform in the hotel because the strong winds meant that they were unable to perform outside. This was a charity event which raised a lot of money so we were more than happy to accommodate them rather than see them have to cancel.
