Beste Monique,Hartelijk dank voor het schrijven van deze beoordeling. We vinden het jammer te lezen dat onze interieur keuze niet uw voorkeur geniet. We hebben al onze kamers ingericht met meubilair dat een klassieke look & feel heeft. Wij vinden dit passend bij ons prachtige gebouw. Bijna al onze kamers beschikken over een bad/douche combinatie. indien u het niet fijn vind om te douchen in bad dan bieden onze suites uitkomst. Ze zijn namelijk allemaal voorzien van een aparte douche en bad. We apologize for the ripped and torn sheets on your bed and the not working sink. Ripped and torn sheets should have been replaced upon discovery by our housekeeping. We are disappointed that our restaurant presented you with a hamburger that was not pleasing to the eye. We hope the taste of the Hamburger was great. As we are located in a listed building we choose our interior decoration on their classical look&feel as we find this fitting with the Grandeur of our building. We are busy with investments to make sure our hotel will last for generations to come. We installed heat pumps last year to save on our gas consumption but keeping a warm climate within our hotel rooms. We zijn blij te lezen dat u graag bij ons verblijft. en dat met name ons ontbijt en het gemak van onze eigen parkeergarage uw verblijf aangenamer maakt. We kiezen er als hotel bewust voor om onze kamers in te richten met een klassieke uitstarling daar wij dit passend vinden bij het monumentale karakter van ons prachtige gebouw. De badkamers staan op onze lijst om vervangen te worden. We zijn nu bezig om offertes op te vragen zodat we een beeld hebben van de kosten. In de tussentijd kunt u altijd aangeven bij het maken van een reservering dat u slecht ter been bent en niet kan douchen in bad. We hebben 2 kamers die zijn aangepast op rolstoel gebruikers en onze suites beschikken allemaal over een aparte douche en bad. We zien u graag terug bij een volgend verblijf in Maastricht. We have redecorated the hotel rooms in the historical part of the building in 2016. these rooms received new furniture, carpet and paint. All with a classical look and feel as we find this complimenting the grandeur of the building. November 2023 we replaced our gas kettle for an environmentally friendly heat pump. We are working on improving our hotel constantly but with the classical look & feel. We would have send someone to your room to clean the room as it should have been. All of our standard and deluxe rooms are equipped with a bath/shower combination. If you are not able to take a shower in a bath then we advice to reserve one of our suites as they have a separate shower and bath. in addition we have 2 rooms that are adapted for wheelchair users, these rooms have a walk-in shower. Het was afgelopen week extreem koud wat heeft geleid tot een storing in ons verwarmingssysteem van 1 vleugel. We vinden het oprecht vervelend dat u zelfs bij een verhuizing naar een andere kamer geen warme kamer kreeg. De storing is inmiddels opgelost maar daar heeft u helaas geen profijt van gehad. We are sorry to read that our interior did not meet your expectations.As the hotel is build in 1902 and we have extensions build in 189 and 2004, not all our rooms have the same lay out but they all meet the advertised 20 square meters for a standard room. We would like to apologize for the dust underneath your bed and the dirty corners in the bathroom. We hope you mentioned these discoveries at the hotel reception so we could send one of our housekeeping staff to clean your bathroom once more. The carpets in the hallways have been replaced may 2023 and we invested in heat pumps to supply the hotel of heating instead of using a gas kettle to do so.
