The Grand in Macon Mississippi was okay it just needs to get rid of that odor but the owner was great and very nice and she told us about the other one that they owned in reform Alabama so we moved our stay to there and that one was actually very nice only minor things but it was really comfortable in the rooms were bigger and we really enjoyed it

This place was a refinery worker's dream! Rates are great! Super quiet day and night. This is "basic motel." You have a microwave and fridge. The water is high-pressure and HOT! A/C will freeze you out and the heating will sweat you out! No bed bugs. Sheets, pillows, and towels are crisp white. Beds are comfy. Never seen any motel as clean as this one. The rooms do not have a spec of dust anywhere. Appliances are well-maintained, no stains or stuck on food. The cleaning staff is super nice. We loved our stay.

Okay

The room was not so good this time around. It was not cleaned well, Wi-Fi don’t work (I never tried before now), no one is ever here at check-in, you have to wait a while for them to get here. Overall, once you’re in the room the area is nice and quiet, there is a local grocery store and gas station close and a chain store to pick up some small items if needed.

I made a reservation on August 26th for October 17th through the 19th. When we arrived, the property was not anything like what was pictured. It was run down and very bad. I waited about twenty five minutes for someone to walk into the office to check me in. Then she told me they didn't even have my reservation and someone else had lost their reservation the day before. So I drove nine and a half hours , it was late and I had no place to stay. The people in this town are great, but the hotels are not.Don't stay in this town ever in a hotel.

Did not get to stay! There was No one there to check me in. They couldn't be reached by phone and after 30 minutes of waiting on someone to show up I left to try and find a room for the night. I had to drive 32 miles to another town and pay for another room. I want a refund for a room i didn't get to use. One star rating was to much but you don't have the option of anything lower.

The Grand Motel

The hotel was abandoned. there was no one there, not one car and no on answered the phone. All of the rooms were judging by looking through the outside no beds inside and it looked as though it had not been operating in years.

The Grand Motel is a good place if you need a night of sleep or if you are looking for somewhere cheap. In my opinion, the cost of the room is too high. The floors need to be redone by someone who knows what they are doing. The motel is in need of some repairs on the outside. The parking lot needs to be done.
