"We'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Negombo. It's in a perfect location for exploring and had a great pool which was an added bonus. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We could walk into Negombo to the local restaurants and cafes and it was a perfect start to our holiday. The rooms were well kept and clean! Thank you!"

"This was the first part of our stay in Sri Lanka and our host made us feel very welcome-waiting outside for us on our arrival and giving us a choice of rooms in either the original hotel or the new one up the road. "My father and I stayed in Araliya Cottage in the beginning and the end of our stay in Sri Lanka. We can recommend the Araliya Cottage because of the excellent service, delicious meals and the house is beautiful with a large garden. "Great greating by the friendly staff of this guesthouse even if I arrived late. They couldn't find my reservation but found me an available room. Nice clean spacious room. The window had a view to a wall in little hallway. Had a good meal at the resto on the porch. Nicely located ditectly on beach. Very nice outdoor space bohemian syle with lots of sitting area. "

"Had one night at the hotel since I had an early flight the next day. The staff was amazing and made my stay easy. Helped me book at transfer to the airport early in the morning. And they also confirmed with the driver in the morning that I was on my way- love how they cared. The hotel was clean, and as a lonly traveler I felt really safe. Good size of the room, great wi-fi and aircon. Easy access to the beach"
