Met Portuguese football team players who were over in Madeira. Did not get to the Stadium but they are football crazy.

As of 2019, the entrance fee is 6 Euros, which is good value compared to the park in Monte which charges over 10 Euros. Recommended.

The cable car is ok but a big queue, the gardens are nothing exciting, not worth a visit you would do better to go to a garnen centre at home.
