Coach House Inn

"Overall a good overnight stay at this simple, no frills but nice inn/motel! Cleanliness - property was fairly well maintained and clean (pool could've been cleaner but we didn't use it). Rooms were very clean and maintained ok (just cosmetic things really). Amenities - a pleasant surprise in the microwave, mini fridge and mini coffee maker - they were not mentioned on the listing but very nice to have! AC was strong and acted as good white noise for late night noise outside. Pool was ok as mentioned above, lots of outdoor space with tables, chairs, swing seats etc. Music was not the best outside and could've done without it but that's a personal reference I guess.. Noise levels - lost a bit on that due to some car/truck noises from being directly on the highway, otherwise ok. Thin walls! Staff - very helpful and pleasant, quick to check us in and out. Food nearby - a few options- an Indian restaurant at the property (didn't eat there but smelled amazing), a taco truck within a 5 min drive or 25 min walk, Foodland fairly close by as well (very new!) and the rest of the stuff was in Tobermory - fairly expensive options but a few! Parking - right outside the rooms, very easy and convenient, gravel lot"
The Robin's Nest Tobermory

"The Robin's Nest is a gem in Tobermory. The location is just a 5 minute walk to the main harbour, restaurants, shops and boat excursions. The B & B property is a lovely structure nestled in the woods right off the main road. The 3 guest rooms are all uniquely named and decorated. We stayed 4 nights. Our room on the main floor had its own sitting and breakfast area outside the room overlooking the forest. The room was perfect, clean and spacious. The decorations included rough edge pine around mirrors and headboard of the bed. The washroom and shower were quite large and very modern. The facility has a very unique outdoor kitchen where breakfast is available for the guests. There is an array of fruits, cereals, homecooked muffins, special warm breakfast sandwiches, coffees, teas, local maple syrup, jams, and breads for toast. The owners, Jim and Robin, are exceptional hosts and always attentive to make all guests feel right at home. They are very knowledgeable of the Tobermory area and ready to offer suggestions of sights and eating establishments to visit. We would highly recommend The Robin's Nest to anyone wishing to visit Tobermory. Larry and Doris"

"We loved the location central to going north and south. Saw the whole island in three days. Staff was very attentive sharing local activities. Did not miss anything. Hot shower clean bed what more could you ask for"

"We had a nice stay. The room and linens were clean. A/C worked well. Although, We didn't feel 100% safe in our room because the front window was broken from the inside. (Glass was in large shards still in the frame) We did report it to front desk and they already knew about it. I didn't like that you can hear other units toilets flush and showers. Regardless of that, it was a pleasant enough stay."

"We were satisfied with the room and location. It did not have a restaurant as indicated by Expedia. They have a hot tub in the main room (added in), which we thought was a bonus, but produced way to much moisture in the room. Otherwise it was fairly decent."
