"There are some really bad reviews of this property - and it's easy to see why. So, so many things required maintenance or fixing that are just left as they are. In our room alone there was a broken shower head, broken shower support thing, broken lock, and a couple other smaller things. But the positives outweigh the negatives. Great breakfast, great location, and super friendly service all made up for the few inconveniences in the room. Plus the view was spectacular!"

"The Jordan tower hotel is basic, but if you’re looking for somewhere just to be based for a couple of days, it’s in a very good location. Also the staff were very helpful, with breakfast included. But the location is very central, it means there is a lot of noise from outside, so bring noise cancelling headphones and/or earplugs. This of course isn’t the fault of the hotels and hostels around downtown Amman. "

"The bedsheets and covers were dirty and had hair on them. They did not change the sheets and covers. I felt itchy skin when I woke up. In addition, the door to the room was broken from the lock and the door could not be locked. It looks like it was broken by a theft. The place is not safe and not comfortable. "The cleanliness of the rooms is average. The carpets in the rooms are old and very dirty. Breakfast was average; every day we had almost the same type of food. The water filter on the breakfast buffet was old and dirty, and the toaster did not work. The staff didn’t clean the room as often as they should have. The location is 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to downtown Amman, but for the Citadel, I recommend taking a taxi because it is quite a walk uphill. "

"Really appreciated the prompt communication from the host, and helpful information about transportation. The room is spacious and the rooftop view is amazing.
