Amazing dinner

Excellent location for the old port and the stadium. Room was comfortable and had what we needed. The food at dinner was amazing. Freshly cooked, French food at a crazy good price. If you stay here the dinner will be worth it!

Bare minimum room near Marseilles

I arrived late to this hotel (after midnite) and someone was in reception to check us in but there were no lights in the stairs or hallway which made it difficult to find our room. It was a minimal hotel room with only a sheet and one pillow but it was sufficient. It did have a clean bathroom. However there appears to be no coffee or tea available.

Short stay in France

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very basic and had to change room as aircon was not working. No lift to top floor, all stairs. We had a noisy guest next door shouting from some dispute with partner so kept us awake. Positives, food was good, friendly staff, free parking and dog friendly. Cheapish hotel in a high end city...

Simple but outdated accommodation, bed is comfortable, shower was simple, didn’t have a proper shower holder, no shower gels only 1 pre packed soap bar. AC was good, not in the best area, staff was friendly, parking was easy. You get what you pay for.

Overall I was fairly happy. On the plus side, very warm and comfortable bed with a TV even though I don't speak French! Shower was adequate. Powerful but hand held. Could have done with an extra shelf for a shaving mirror to stand on. The biggest downside is that there is free Wi-Fi but it doesn't actually work in the room! From a location point of view, I should have done more research before booking. This was my first time in Marseille and I'm not exactly the most experienced of travellers. Luckily I had a French friend who helped me the first time we journeyed to the centre of Marseille. After breaking my public transport anxiety, it became very simple catching the bus and Metro. Unfortunately if you stay out too late you will probably need a taxi back which was about 20 to 25 Euros. For this reason, I will look for something closer to the centre next time.

Basic and tired.

Disappointed with room, no shower rail, no hairdryer, no kettle, very basic and smelt musty. No bottled water in room, no common area, microwave, fridge or tea and coffee facilities which were all promised in hotel description. Very basic and tired throughout.
