The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The breakfast was charged extra and there was plenty of cereal, bread, cheese, meats, fruits and yoghurts etc. It is over 4 km from Carcassone and buses are infrequent but there is plenty of parking if you take a car. We had a fabulous stay.

This property is like the Jewel in the Crown!! Firstly, don't be put off by the small number of excellent reviews as it has only opened this year. The hosts, Katy and Olivier, were both working in England for many years at a high quality and popular hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. Katy's family owned this Yorkshire hotel and Olivier was the head chef. When the family sold the Hotel, Katy & Olivier returned to his native France and then the Maison du canal du midi was born. We initially had problems finding it due to our Satnav but it's so well located near Carrefour and the main road to the walled city. Excellent value for money.

Absolutely fantastic 2-day stay in the Royal Suite at Le Château de La Seigne. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Carcassonne, and Ubers had no trouble picking us up right at the gate quickly. The château itself is stunning and beautifully restored, packed with character and cool features like vintage restored cars in the entrance garage, a working old-school jukebox near the hall and a characterful staircase up to the upper rooms. The Royal Suite was huge, spotless, and had incredible views...

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk into the old town but also on a street with plenty of amenities of its own. Free parking nearby in the Place Barbicane which was easy to find and close to the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and local products. The hotel garden was beautiful, and a cute if very small roof terrace too from which you can get a view of the city walls.

Great hotel with lovely staff. Big rooms, great bathroom and fabulous breakfast. 5 star 🌟

Stunning property with lovely hosts. Food was excellent as was the service. In town was a great tapas too

Ok

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and very accommodating. They provide dinner on request and the food was superb. Breakfast also excellent. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have a massage. All in all an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Receptionist extremely friendly, facilities fantastic for our overnight stopover. Great 2 bedroom appartment.

Very clean, staff at reception very friendly, helped to organise a taxi for us. Perfect for an overnight stay on the way to the airport in Carcassonne.

BJ and Iris were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was great with wonderful views and a stones throw from Carcassonne city. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams. BJ was also very kind to re freeze our ice packs for the onward journey. We will definitely be back.

Lovely staff excellent restaurant and extremely comfortable bed. Ihad a very enjoyable two week stay
