It was so convenient. Close to shoopibg, eating options and entertainment. It was in a perfect location. I mostlybrelaxed and the options on the Tav were great and helped me relax. I usually dont have time to watch TV sobthis was great.

Good place to stay while bird-watching in the Western Rio Grande Valley. Room was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. They are renovating, so there was some noise from next door, but that's a plus for future visitors.

Great Hotel

This is my second stay here and I was not disappointed. They let me check in an hour early. Breakfast includes Waffles. Lots of dining options nearby. My only complaint is the limited parking and the spaces are very narrow for all the trucks and SUVs.

This is my second time staying because of the convenience of the location. Both experiences have been similar. Rooms are outdated. Bathrooms were not clean & had hairs in the corners. Carpet was dirty & had a giant toe nail in the middle of the floor. Staff is extremely friendly BUT Managment is NOT flexible when it comes to rebooking/cancelling a month in advance. I did appreciate that the ac was on before we arrived & the room was cool.

The room was clean and comfortable. But the bathroom and shower tub had ants all over. I had to get some bugs killer before using them. The pool was out of order and so was the gym. Breakfast was of but pastries were noticeable old. I would had avoided this hotel if other optiones were available in this little town.

Pleasant gentleman when checking in. Room was clean except for some ants around bathroom sink. The rooms have been renovated since the last time we had stayed. Breakfast was from 6am-9am yet at 815am when my family and I came down for breakfast, everything (all the hot food) had already finished and when the man at the front desk (not the same one from the night before at check-in) was notified, all he said was sorry and that it had finished. With 45 minutes til 9am, you’d figure they would make one more round of food, ESPECIALLY if families were still coming down for breakfast! There was no one in the breakfast area attending to it either. Needless to say, that was disappointing

Will definitely stay again

We are in rio all the time usually stay with family. This time we opted for a room, this was a great choice the pics on google must be old. The room we experienced was clean didn’t smell bad and seemed recently painted and updated was very impressed especially for the price!! Will definitely stay here again especially the given proximity to restaurants stores etc there was free breakfast. We did not wake up in time for that lol parking lot was clean pool was clean lobby area was immaculate. The only thing we didn’t like was in the room there is a door that presumably leaves to the next room. This door was unlocked and opened that was a bit concerning for my family: luckily I carry around a small wedge for situations as such we moved the coffee table and chair and a lamp to the door as an extra precaution. There was a few ants in the restroom but they seemed to go away and we didn’t notice anymore once we had settled in. As far as aesthetic goes didn’t much like the green chair or the top blanket of the bed which was green it didn’t match the rest of the modern room. But it was still very nice l. Another plus for me was the ac blew extremely cold! I travel with a fan everywhere for these exact situations didn’t need it here.
