"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The hotel was extremely charming with excellent staff. It’s located within the castle walls and near the entrance of the castle, which is open 24/7. The hot tub area is by reservation only (no charge), so me and my husband drank wine and watched sunset all by ourselves. They also provide thick robes in the bedrooms for this. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options to choose from: meats, cheeses, cereal, fresh pastries, fruit and more. Highly recommend staying at this lovely Inn. "
"A lovely hotel. I think it’s family run and very friendly and helpful. Very clean and they have a restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast."
"The hotel is very clean and charming. The staff were exceptionally nice. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a wide variety of options.
The pool area was also clean, but needs a little love. "
"The hotel was nothing short of beautiful. The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here."
"Gabriel and Susan made our stay feel safe and at home. Property is situated on a large farm with great views. They have horses, cows and goats so you are in the cou try. The swimming pool was nice and kept spotless. Susan brought home made goodies every day Fresh milk was a dream, juices teens really enjoyed. She brought us so much we couldnt eat it all. The only suggestions i would make is a few small kitchen items, electric coffee maker (she did supply all the coffee, tea, hot chocolate), spatula. Otherwise everything else was good. They do have a large laundry room with everything you need which was ausome. The best was how they both made you feel such friendly and kind people."
