Good base to explore Mendoza

Very good location in the heart of Mendoza with own parking facilities. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the staff very helpful and knowleadgeable. Very basic breakfast.

Aecuado para familias

Muy gentil todo el personal. En general bien. Sugiero mejorar la reposición de alimentos y vajilla a la hora del desayuno, a diario faltaba más de algo y tardaban en reponer. Buena voluntad ante las peticiones, pienso que deberían tener un supervisor a cargo del bufet para anticiparse. El resto funcionó bien. El hotel está próximo a una plaza y en estas fechas (18 de sept) se montan stands y hay celebración con música hasta pasada la medianoche. No es culpa del hotel, pero la bulla durante esos días resultó algo molesto. Salvo eso, la ubicación es central y me pareció seguro.

Just awful.

I was morbidly disappointed by this "hotel". This is an apartment-hotel, essentially meant for longer stays. It was barely a grade above a hostel. The front desk staff, while polite, did not speak English beyond exchanging greetings. This is an important point for anyone wishing to have hotel staff fluent in English - at this site, they are not. I removed the polyester bedspread to put the other polyester blanket from the closet on the bed; when I unrolled the polyester blanket, I found a dead spider in it, along with other disturbing black smudges. The towels in the bathroom were a disgusting dingy grey although it was clear they were meant to be white. The walls had both cobwebs and peeling paint. The shower, with it's dorm style dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, all clogged and 1/4 to 1/2 full, also had dirty corners that had not been properly cleaned for a long time. I was shocked at how bad this place was with the numerous positive reviews. I would not recommend it.

Definitely 4 start all the way at 3 Star Price

This hotel is definitely 4 star all the way. The location is handy downtown in a perfect location for walking. The hotel is immaculate with marble tiles throughout.Three of us stayed in a two bedroom suite that had a kitchenette table and each large room had a king size bed.The bathroom was roomy with nice enclosed shower. There was an enormous exterior private patio. The housekeeping kept it spotless and the people working at the front desk were very,very helpful. Breakfast was great,and served from 7 to 10 every morning.There was also a very nice wine bar off the lobby.

Escolhi este hoel apos um comentario favoravel do Traip Advisor e pelo fato dele ter garagem ja que eu estava de carro. O quarto e bem espacoso, tem uma cozinha toda completa o queme permitiu fazer o jantar lá por duas noites, tomando uns vinhos mais caros. Altamente recomendado. Talvez só precise de uma reforminnha.

Average, somewhat misleading apart hotel

We reserved this through Expedia because of the location, because we could get two bedrooms (for a family of 4), and because it had hot tubs and a gym. The gym was being renovated, bot hot tubs were broken, and they gave us a one bedroom. They removed the living room furniture and put two twin beds there, and insisted that is how "two bedrooms" translated for them. We do speak Spanish, so this wasn't a problem with communicating. They did get the gym repaired before we left, the place was clean and safe, the cleaning staff were very friendly, and the breakfasts were pretty good, so the initial disappointment, which would have been a very low score, can rebound to a three.

A great surprise in Mendoza!

This is a great choice, steps away from nice restaurant and also a big supermarket (Carrefour). The hotel is in a nice area, safe to walk at night. The hotel is really beautiful, we got a huge room with a leather sofa, chairs and a table and a kitchen, just like the pictures. Extra pillows and a safe box in the room. The staff was extremely helpful and they speak english (24 hours front desk). The buffet breakfast is quite good, natural juice, jam, cheese, jams, tasty breads, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit! I really enjoyed my stay and I completely recommend it. We were on the second floor (room 107) and we heard a little noise from the cars, however we were able to have a nice rest in our comfy bed. The hotel gives a free sauna and jacuzzi treat for free if you want to take it (we didn't), and there are two computers to access internet on the second floor, always free when we wanted to use them. There are exercise machines on the third floor and a little roof terrace to sit and relax. Great hotel, if I ever return to Mendoza I'll definitely stay at Montanas Azules.
