Very Good Value Hotel in a Wonderful Town

Very good value, comfortable, good breakfast [very busy with large tour groups]. Easy car parking at the hotel. Within reasonable walking distance of main tourist sites.

Great value and location

Great location, easy walk to all of the Roman building and ruins. Hotel is very good value for its very reasonable prices. Good parking and WiFi. For EV drivers, charging is available across the street.

The reception team were very welcoming and the hotel was a short distance from the sights to visit. The meal at the restaurant in the evening was extremely good and very tasty. If we were ever in this area again would not hesitate to stay here again.

stayed one night on the way to the other destination, it was a big hotel with plenty of rooms. This is for me a typical hotel that was built in 1990 or before where targeting big group of tourists. Room was nice. The Bathroom has a bathtub. Breakfast was so so, (quality of jamón and zumo were not great, given this is the city famous for jamon.) good part was that, the staff was super nice to help me get what i needed. Convenient place and not a bad price.

This is a convenient location within walking distance of main attractions. It is a nice hotel and the rooms are nice but the breakfast was average. This may have been because there was a large tour group at the time and the staff seemed overwhelmed by the numbers.

Hotel in Merida, Spain

We needed a hotel for three adult family members with parking for one night, conveniently located near Mérida’s old town, and Hotel Velada met our needs perfectly. Check-in was prompt and smooth, and we were able to add a last-minute breakfast option without any hassle. Extending check-out by an hour was also easy to arrange with a quick phone call. The room, while on the smaller side, was clean and well-prepared to accommodate all our needs. The hotel’s location was a big advantage, within walking distance of a covered public swimming pool as well as the Roman amphitheater and theater. Overall, it was a great choice for our short stay in Mérida.

The check in was a breeze. Most friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient secure parking right next to the hotel. Everything was great, except for the breakfast service and noise. The quality of hot food was poor, as was the fresh fruit and fruit juice. There were a couple tour groups who were loud and boorish. Pretty noisy night too with constant banging of doors. Not the fault of the hotel…

Nice stop on way to the UK

Stayed here for one night on the way to the UK from southern Spain. Hotel easy to locate and great covered car parking to the side of the hotel. Our room was clean, slightly small but adequate for one night stay. We had lunch at the pool bar, nice and reasonable. The hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to the tourist attractions such as the amphitheatre, cafes and bars. The breakfast was disappointing. The only 'hot' options was bacon and scrambled egg and these were cold. The pastries and cakes were hard. Unfortunately the coffee machine wasn't working for black coffee.
