After we booked, and paid for, a room the hotel sent us a message saying (in Spanish - which I was able to translate because of a basic knowledge of the language) that the hotel was closed because of water inundation. They followed up with a shorter message simply saying that the hotel was closed. ...

There was attached parking, but we were not aware of it until after we had parked in public. It was very centrally located, and there were many restaurants around with lots of choices.
