The booking agent and property had difficulty communicating which lead to a delayed checking and then the next morning they told me I had to pay, even though I had paid Expedia online. Many phone calls later it was eventually resolved. The property itself was alright, but the exterior door is in a sketchy side alley and did not feature a door on the apartment level. "The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "
