"When we first came the windows were leaking from the ceiling and had to just put towels in the window sill. The last two days there was no hot water for showers. This was not good since we needed showers from going to the beach. Staff were friendly though when I asked for fresh towels and coffee."

"This was 1 of the most horrible stay ive had. The tv, shower, and light all not working. Hard as a rock beds. Walls so thin you and your neighbors are 1. Lied about free breakfast, its 2.99 an item. The cleaning staff cut too many corners. Also you can only have 2 towels per room. Which is ridiculous if theres 3 of you. Dont waste your time or money here. Need major improvements "

"The room had no amenities. The bed was like a rock and pillow so lumpy and uncomfortable. We gave this place another try since we heard anbout renovations. We were happy with the staff and room location, but that’s about it. The bar wasn’t open the coffee was not good… It’s sort of criminal not to have a decent cup of coffee… Sadly attention to detail with amenities was lacking…"

"My wife and I are local to this area, we live 20 min down the road and wanted to get a little quick “staycation” in. We called the hotel tried to cancel after an incident that was on the news occurred in longbranch that was seconds away from the hotel. They did no allow us to cancel so we decided to make the best of it. After speaking to someone at the hotel they said they have plenty of security and not to worry. We had 1 day at the beach since he next day rained and that one day there were rowdy teens that decided to use the hotel beach chairs which apparently they are not allowed to. We didn’t say anything but upon leaving the beach we asked what the rules were for using the hotels amenities and the security guard said “well it’s a slow day so I’m not gonna say anything “ we had to move our seats twice to get away from the noise. I was a little upset after paying $400 on a Tuesday to basically use the beach I couldn’t enjoy. When going to bed they don’t even use fitted sheets. Just a bed sheet that wasn’t even tucked into the bed and was actually dirty. I would Never come here again or recommend this place to anyone ! And when we were leaving they didn’t even ask if everything was ok or how our stay was."

"This was our third time staying at this location. The first two stays were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. During the third stay after checking in, our room smelled heavily of cigarettes, especially the bathroom. The pillows had hair on them underneath the pillow cases, and there was hair on the toilet seat and around the interior of the bowl. To my understanding the property interior is smoke free. The front desk also said they are smoke free and that there should not be any smoke smell. They moved us to another room one floor down. This room was fine and did not smell. It did however have a broken desk lamp that flickered nonstop just by being plugged in. It’s worth noting that about 5 rooms down the hall there was heavy cigarette smell, clearly coming from another guest room, and they also had a dog with them. The cleaning staff wasn’t thorough and did not air out a smoked in room. They are not strict on the no smoking inside rooms or pet policy. Most likely will look elsewhere moving forward, we want to stay at a hotel where we feel clean and know it’s well taken care of between each guest."
