"Really friendly staff but my room was shabby with marked, stained and ripped wallpaper. It was located at the front of the property with a lot of late night noise and light from the main road. I see many other 10/10 reviews but can not say they reflected the room I was given. The room was clean, however."

"The pub itself is a lovely spot to unwind with a drink or two. The food was also good. The room was comfortable but did feature a very small shower. I would not recommend larger people to stay here. Otherwise it was perfect for our stop over in Lyme Regis."

"We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again."

"This was an emergency stop over for me as I needed a break and sleep. Mattress was not very comfortable at all the bedroom was tidy and clean. Breakfast choice was either McDonald’s or Costa heated sandwich …not exactly what I would class as a breakfast and being a motorway service station everything was excessively expensive as well. but as I said, this was an emergency night stay and it served its purpose perfectly for me."
