Quietly what we needed!

Although quite far from town, we loved the drive through cork trees and farmland to reach a beautiful quiet retreat from noise! The breakfast was fabulous and the staff was very kind. We also loved the dogs who were very attentive!

totale naturruhe

haus/häuser im kolonialstil eingerichtet mit privaten gegenständen. am fluss/teich angelegter garten, wo nur verschiedene vögel (anfang mai) und paar frösche zu hören waren. hängematten und sitzgelegenheiten überall im garten, wo man sich zurückziehen kann. eine paradiesische ambiente! eine ideale bleibe um die alentejo weinstrasse zu besuchen.

Pleasant country side escape

We stayed at this pousada for 3 days end of Oct 2014; Staff and owner are very friendly. Breakfast was superb - dinner was home cooked and excellent. It's clean, well looked after and set in the country side in the Alentejo wine district - 15 min drive from a pleasant town. Best time to visit would be spring and summer. Would enjoy going back.
