"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"Clean room. Air conditioning in bedroom but good enough for the rest of rooms. Next to great beach. Bugs at night got in covered walls. Saw them when came back from dinner. We spent some time wiping down the walls to rid them. On bed too. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. We did not have a car and we didn’t cook or use the kitchen. Not fancy but very adequate. Staff friendly."

"Bungalows were great There is some internet is available although it’s slow at times. There are no tvs which is brilliant. You just sit back and enjoy the views Free use of kayaks and you’re right next to the area of the lagoon where the best snorkelling for the moorea island is. It’s one of 3 locations where you sit in the balcony and watch the sun go down The breakfast staff are brilliant and the local restaurants give plenty of options and are just 300 -400 m down the road it’s sister...

"Our stay was wonderful! The hotel staff is very friendly and everything was super clean. The whole hotel, beginning from the garden, over to the house and the pier had lovely details wherever you look. No matter if its plants or flowers, deco elemants or art. At the pier where sharks, rays and lots of colurful fishes. The two hotel cats where also very friendly! The breakfast had to be booked on top, which we didnt do. There was enough kitchen equipment for a light breakfast in the rooms. We...

"Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"Really nice small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Nice pool right on a small sandy beach with some pretty good coral beds right there. Beautiful setting near top of cooks bay. Room had a funny smell but staff was great in trying to address it. "
