Quite expensive and apart from the view at the top( only worth it on a clear day) there’s not much to see.Wear layers as it’s freezing at the top when you transfer to the chair lift.The staff operating the cable cars are not particularly friendly or accommodating and would not wait for two elderly lady passengers.

Reached the top by cable car and chair lift, then took the 'Alpyland' ride down to the middle station (Alpino). The return cable car had stopped for lunch break so we walked down to Stresa via the well-marked path which took about 90 minutes but worth it.
