"The house was amazing, especially with the lovely gallery of unique paintings by Colin Maclaren and marvellous views of the lake plus great for stargazing. However the house definitely needs some cleaning, the fridge is in an unclean state and the oven emitts a lot of smoke when we tried to use it, also the fireplace when we tried to start a fire. Also, we must have missed the description that the house comes with 2 cats, and 2 of us are actually allergic to cats, luckily we had...

"The house was good and provided us with all we needed for our stay away. Took us awhile to figure out the sky box was in the cupboard but got there in the end. The ourdoor furniture had obviously been soaked by the rain which wasnt too pleasant to find out when I sat down. The bed in the master bedroom is rather unusual to sleep on and some of the slats fell out on my husbands side. The shower is over the bath and the preasure is amazimg but would be better if it had a glass screen as apposed to...

"Love it! Too huge in fact for our family of 6 but we were spoilt for choices on the rooms available to sleep in. And we are able to stargaze just outside the house and the view is fantastic. The insects too :p"

"It is a pleasant house. We can cook and there are lots of pots and pans in the kitchen that we can use. But the stay has a policy that the guest are required to clean the kitchen and the utensils. So when was started using it, it was not clean. But overall we love the cooking facilities. The pitfall is it is not overlooking the lake view."
