"Everything was amazing. The pool was a highlight. The room and bed were super cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was divine. I would 100% recommend this place."
"The front desk was very nice. Older hotel, but room was clean. Smaller than average sized room. A bit overpriced for one night and it being an old hotel. The breakfast was good and hot. Plenty of options. I needed an additional towel and it was torn at bottom. I took it back, the 2nd one was torn. The 3rd towel was fine, until I got back to room and it was torn as well. I would say inspect and replace old worn towels. The location was not far from the Walmart so that was a plus."
"Ethan was top notch at our check in with hospitality. Tino at Marsh Tavern was super kind at breakfast. Love the history of the Equinox. It’s a historic hotel, so don’t expect a contemporary pristine brand new place.
The hotel is gorgeous with its authentic charm. A disappointment to us was the high amenity fees and no time to use them with the hot tub and pool closing at 8 pm. We tried to use the bikes, but the handle bar broke and so did the chain. We ended up having to drive back and forth to bring it back from down the street in the back of our jeep. Bycycles need brakes and attention.
We did enjoy our stay at the Equinox. Just wish the amenities had worked out better."
"I was traveling with my dog and the hotel was very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi unfortunately wasn’t reliable and there was no cell service. The only thing I would say needs improving is the entrance lighting. I arrived in the dark and the road didn’t have any light so I had to rely solely on gps telling me to turn because even though there were lights on the hotel sign, I couldn’t make out the actual turn into the hotel it was so dark and sorta drove past and had to back up.
