"We had an exceptional "birthday stay," after enjoying a day and evening in Deventer. Everything was super great: Reception personnel, the room, the bed, the shower with wonderful-smelling bath gel, the view. Parking was easy, close, lots of available spaces. It made it seamless to buy ferry tickets at the hotel. The ferry to the city center was less than a 5 minute walk. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast options were extensive, high quality and satisfying, including the coffee and fresh orange juice. We appreciated all of it. Just a couple of things we noticed aside from all this good: some tiles in the hallway ceiling really need to be replaced. And, when everything else is so great, why not have the buyer for Housekeeping buy a better quality of toilet paper and tissues? These were surprisingly low quality, which is why it stood out against all the rest that was near to or absolute perfection. We had a truly lovely stay!"

"Spacious room, comfortable bed, luxurious coffee machine. Breakfast was chaotic. Many waiting for a cappuccino or hot water with high maintenance machines. Fitness room was spacious and well equipped. Dirty water cups only available (no clean cups ready). All in all, highly recommend the hotel for quick access to the interstate. Dinner was very good. Breakfast was okay."

"Everything was perfect , the room, the bed, the air con, the staff were amazing and we got laundry done for a fee. Definitely coming back! You are awesome . The restaurant also great and there was one particular girl with awesome English who help with sort my meal with allergies. Thank you so much!!!!!"

"This hotel needs updating. The rooms are tired with insufficient lighting and drawer space, however the views of the golf course were lovely. The beds are very high making it difficult for anyone 5ft 2ins or less or with disabilities. However the beds are comfortable The restaurant was excellent. The choice at breakfast was very good. Plenty of free parking and reception was excellent."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Responded to our needs very quickly. Was unaware our room had no air conditioning. It really should be noted so there is no disappointment and your rating will be imlroved with this knowledge. Also elevator was not working and walking up to second (with 0 being ground floor) was difficult for older guest (me!) with luggage. This should have been noted prior to check in even if it was temporary. Again best to expose than hide facts of stay."
