The event is planned extremely well, has an incredible amount of era-appropriate events and a magnificent setting. Everybody dresses up - frocks, heels and accessories, bow ties and suspenders... Add vintage car parades, over 200 different events - it's a great weekend!

Short drive from Napier city or can easily be walked. There is toilets at the top so would be a perfect spot for some free camping!
Eery trip through Napier's prison which had been empty now for over twenty years. You get a portable speaker and can walk around at your own pace. Is a little bit difficult to walk around with a stroller. Also they do one night tour a month which looks very spooky!
