Warm, friendly and comfortable

Covid-19 had effected our planned trip over the holiday break - and we were saved by Farnboro! The friendly staff at Farnboro allowed us to bring dates forward, and extend the trip in Narooma with ease. The staff are so friendly, and the rooms very comfortable. Would recommend Farnboro highly, and look forward to our next stay.

The bed, which should have been a King was a Queen. It was hard as blanks of wood; the pillows were like slabs of marble. The kettle did not fit under the bathroom tap, but it was easily filled with glasses of water. The highway could be heard; the carpet had a huge tear in it. The owner's mother came up with a price which was different from Expedia.ca and asked for my credit card - hope that the price is that of Expedia.ca and in Canadian dollars.

Just good for a night

Not happy with the guy in the reception, rude. The room is good only for a night, but of you want yo stay longer, better to look for a better place to make you comfortable. Pool looks like didnt clean, along the road so expect a noise. Water on tap need a small jug to get a water to boil for a cuppa, because of the space of the sink is too small and can't get through the boiling jug to boil a water. Most of all the price is not reflecting to the comfort and service. Too expensive compared to other accommodations. If there is spaces with other accommodations, I/we will not booked for this and gor sure we'll not coming back to this accommodation anymore. Bad experienced

When we arrived just after 2pm Hotel Manager was out. Website listed hot breakfast available. No breakfast cld b purchaded. Mgr told us we could have some stale weetbix! He had an attitude perhaps bcos we interrupted his day out.

FARNBORO blurp

We went for a two night break away and found everything suitable to our needs. It was clean and comfortable and did not hear any noise from the traffic or neighbours. A must stay place in our books

a good night's reat

Nice little motel - old but spotless. Very comfortable bed and lovely linen, towels and so on. Although right on the highway, the traffic noise pretty well stopped after 9pm (along with the traffic). It's very good old fashioned value.

Disapointing.

We arrived on friday night at 8.50, not thinking that on a friday night of the school holidays that they would be already closed, If i thought that we would of called ahead or I would of thought the motel would of contacted me. When we arrived the woman came out her door and called out what room we were in you could tell she wasnt particularly happy with us but we just said thanks and went to our room. The following morning my partner went to the office around 8am as we didnt have any milk in our room for our coffee where he was met by the gentleman of the motel who rudely said they didnt open until 8.30 and if werent late last night they would of had our room organised... mind you the room was already paid for, he did give him the milk though. We were just disapointed with the managers attitude and due to that we wouldnt go back or recommend the motel.

Lovely

An overnight stay. Greeted by friendly host. Room had lovely outlook onto garden which could be easily accessed. Local birdlife a pleasure to observe
