Great stay

Great stay at The Keyberry, Rob the manager was very friendly and helpful. Large room, good breakfast. Will definitely stay again when we visit Newton Abbot

A lovely stay

A lovely stay at the Keyberry. A friendly pub with rooms outside. Room was nice and the full information was given of how to enter and leave. Had a breakfast included which was lovely.

Looking forward to staying again

everyone there was very nice, lucky enough to be able to wish the landlady a very happy birthday! Staff were very pleasant, locals friendly and the Landlady cooks an amazing breakfast! Also were very happy to accomodate a slightly later leaving time as the meeting I had to be at the next day was only 5 minutes down the road.

Basic but comfortable

Quite a basic room but comfortable and clean. Landlord very accomodating providing me with a sandwich for my breakfast as I had to leave early.

Friendly, basic but very clean

Really friendly people, rooms were nice and clean. Would stay again. Only thing, is i had to leave early for work and there was no where to deposit the keys. So i had to leave them in the room

There is a lot to do at this property it’s dated and lots of furniture ect outside should be looked at the room was clean and was okay for me it wouldn’t suit disabled as about 12 steep steps breakfast was good landlady very kind they had only been there 6 weeks but am sure it will be brought up to speed

Clean and warm but no frills. If you don't want a full English breakfast inform the proprietor in advance, otherwise that's what you'll get. Not a suitable hotel for vegetarians or vegans.

When we booked it says that breakfast was included. But when I ask what time they served it, they say no food whatsoever. Tiny double bed, and a bad bathroom (just wondering what’s under the floor carpet). Never going to booking there again.

The place is under new management who offered a warm welcome, a clean room, done up the place as best they could. The place still has a few issues from being taken over eg shower not draining well and a new mattress due but the new team are trying hard to make a go of it and are trying to make good.

Shaun and Teresa were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. In fact fine hosts. And would recommend it. Wish we could have stayed longer, and intend to return.

False advertising

We arrived at 15 30 to be told the room was being cleaned , as no staff.The website said check in was from14.00.Very annoying as we needed to get ready and was being picked up for a party.The room was clean very basic.The price I paid on your site included breakfast, booked on 20th May.There was no breakfast, when I asked what time it was served I was told we do not do breakfast.There was a sign outside my room stating the time breakfast was served.I feel I was sold something I did not receive and should be refunded.

Not of worthy of 3 star status.

Hotel surrounded by scaffolding. Loud music at 3.30 and 4.30am. Shower drain blocked. Breakfast was poor. No fruit or yogurt. Toast burnt or not cooked at all. In mitigation, the landlord's wife had left him and he couldn't cope.
