"The reserve is a nature lover's oasis. We were there in December, the biome is teeming with life. We spotted duiker, boomslang, baboons, mongoose and lots of colourful birds, butterflies, dragon flies and much more. The hike up the valley is beautiful. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful back to nature retreat. "

"I booked for my daughter and personally did not go to the Lodge. This is their comments: Very pleasant stay! We went for a quick weekend away from the hassle and bustle of the city to get the experience of being away in the bush. Everything was better than expected, except the operation of the gas geyser which made it difficult to have a descent shower"

"I had an exceptional experience at the game reserve this past weekend. The staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive to all our needs. The reserve itself is beautifully maintained, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere."

"2 weeks prior to our arrival, we sent a message, and have still not had a reply. At arrival, the host did not know we were coming and had no info about our booking. Luckily she did a good job on preparing our house quickly. Kitchen supply was very old, frying pan useless and no toaster. "
