"The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

"After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return"

"We can’t say enough about this beautifully redone hotel. It’s comfortable, luxurious and has everything you need. The staff is great - friendly, helpful, talkative as much as you want. It feels like family and you can’t help but feel comfortable. As you get cozy you start to realize all the details and attention given to make it perfect."

AC unit did t work and the room was pretty hot. Little to no air circulation.
Had to sleep with the door open it got so hot. (Yes, we had all 2 windows completely open.)"
