"2-3 star hotel at best. The 5 star is misleading and somewhat false advertising. There is nothing 5 star about the hotel, rooms or experience. Curtains are NOT black out, rooms are NOT soundproofed. Cheap amenities, shower head is a basic handheld. You are provided 2 thin towels. Expect stains. The “king size” bed is the ol 2 single beds mushed together and NOT an actual king size bed. If you want late checkout expect to pay $50 per hour but then get woken by bangs on the door from housekeeping at the standard checkout time - how is this not communicated in a 5 star environment. The linens are also horrible. Thin, crusty dusty lumpy. Just awful. Had higher expectations given the hotels reputation when it was first established. Would not stay again, there are far more luxury options available for the same price point elsewhere. Also, the toilet paper - you’ll get a far better wipe at a local truck stop station."

"Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a very unpleasant check-in experience. The front desk lady who checked us in never smiled once and appeared unhappy and unfriendly throughout the entire interaction. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that her attitude seemed noticeably different when serving other Western guests. She was warm and welcoming to them, but cold and dismissive toward us as Asian guests. In addition, several reasonable requests were immediately rejected. For example, when I asked whether we could have an extra blanket, the lady simply said “No” without offering any explanation or assistance. However, after speaking with another staff member later, the blanket was delivered to our room promptly without any issue. This left us wondering why our request was denied in the first place. Hospitality should be extended equally to all guests regardless of their background. Unfortunately, the service we received at check-in fell far below that standard and left a negative first impression of the hotel."

"Upon arriving we were shocked at the lack of customer service provided by the staff member at the reception desk. We were not greeted with a pleased to see you attitude welcome to our resort. We asked for a trolley for our luggage to take to our room and was told with a shrug don't know where there is one. In our room it was obvious the room needed to be renovated....eg: rust around the bottom of the glass shower screen. Our room did not have a toaster and no provision to even make a light snack. On the pleasant side the view from our room was lovely and looked to the marina etc. We would give this complex a 2star rating and on the whole was a huge disappointment to us both. We will not come back again and not encourage our family or friends to stay at the complex."
