Wonderful place to stay in Arenal. You do need a car but for that you have a beautiful location and a wonderful stay. There is no noise apart from the birds and breakfast on a balcony overlooking the lovely gardens.

We stayed at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs in a Chato Suite and overall had a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery with views of Arenal volcano (when the clouds clear). The resort feels peaceful and spacious, which adds to its relaxed atmosphere, and it’s only a 5-minute Uber ride into town, which was inexpensive, safe, and reliable. Wonderful hotel, with really helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are luxurious and well designed with fantastic views of volcán arenal. They offer free yoga classes every morning in an outdoor yoga pavilion surrounded by rainforest which is a truly fantastic way to start the day. You can also use all the facilities at the even more luxurious Nayara Springs resort (which is adults only) thus giving you more options. Breakfast is great too. We loved our stay at Lomas del Volcán and can't recommend it highly enough. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. We received an extremely friendly welcome and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was amazing, with so many exciting options. Amazing stay. Hot springs on site with several different pools to choose from. Add in a jacuzzi, and a bar / restaurant, a spa and a small farm which provides the vegetables, eggs and cheese for the hotel, this place is a prime example of how to do ecotourism. Handily located close to, but not in the bustle of La Fortuna, Arenal, Rio Celeste, the Hanging Bridges and all the adventure pursuits are close by.

We had the best time staying at Noahs Forest. The staff were very freindly and helpful and always took the time to check on you. We loved the facilities especially the pool and ping pong tables, as well as the jacuzzi in the room. Everything was very clean and the best possible standard. Thank you for finding the sloths everyday, we'd never of managed without the helpfully positioned telescope and map! Wow what a beautiful hotel! Rio Perdido offers quiet luxury in a very natural environment. The staff were fantastic- nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly and kind. We stayed n an eat bungalow which was perfect for a couple or family of 3- huge bed, couch to chill on, lots of storage, good size bathroom and cute deck with hammocks where we sat and watched the monkeys playing in the trees. Beautiful property. Compact but has everything you need. Located a little outside of La Fortuna but has a litttle supermarket, Ann’s several cafe and restaurants within a 10 min walk. Within easy reach of Tabacon, Arenal and La Fortuna Waterfall via car or uber. Perk of the property is the jacuzzi.

We had a wonderful stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the volcano and we were able to watch birds directly. The bed and room were comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants. We booked a room upstairs and it was fabulous. Very well-maintained, spacious and clean room. We sat early each morning and drank our coffee and watched the birds start their day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Gabi was amazing for suggestions of food and tours too! Breakfast is a 2-3 minute walk away at an eco spot which does not disappoint! They put food out for the animals and you can watch them while you enjoy fresh fruit, local coffee and great eggs or traditional breakfast....
