"My husband, daughter & I went for 4 nights to go skiing. The pros: The price was reasonable & the location was great with the shuttle stop being right in front of the lodge. The pool & hot tub were well maintained and the staff was very nice & friendly. We stayed in a double queen room and it was nice to be able to park right outside our door. The room was clean, warm, the beds were comfy & the microwave & mini frig were appreciated. The cons: The biggest downside to the room was the lack of any dressers for clothing, no bench or desk or table or chairs, only 2 hooks on the wall, & no shelves or cabinet in the bathroom. There's only one small nightstand between the 2 beds. There is a hanging rack by the frig, but very few hangars. So it was hard finding places for our stuff & nowhere to sit besides the beds. I would stay here again if I was looking for something economical, but I'd bring a small folding table & chairs & an extension cord. I would not recommend this for 2 couples, but it's fine for families with one or 2 kids. "

"My friend and I stayed for a spring ski weekend at Stowe. It's an easy drive to the mountain and a short drive to all the restaurant options in town. We rented demo skis at Pinnacle, which is literally across the street. We were exhausted from skiing each day so didn't end up using the amenities like pool and hot tub. "

"I was lucky to stay in the recently renovated part of hotel. the room was modern, clean and cleverly designed. I was far from the common areas but that was not a problem bc there was a enclosed bridge so I did not have to go outdoors. I enjoyed the hot tub. The continental breakfast was simple and good: pastries, yogurt and breads. Stowe Bowl had a fun vibe and the wings were very good. The staff was EXCELLENT - helpful and friendly. "
