"Breakfast was delicious. Lady up front was very helpful. She was very busy but was able to make time and help me out. Hotel was very clean and beds were very comfortable."
"The lodge is very primitive. The standard queen is very small. The toilet & shower are right next to the bed and the sink is across the room.
There is a water pot but no coffee pot. No tv, wifi didnt work so streaming wasnt possible. No microwave or fridge. The dining hall is a fair walk from the rooms.
We had four groups traveling together and we were placed in separate buildings. Cellphones were spotty so we had difficulty communicating. Hotel phones didnt work well either.
There was chaos the day we checked in and we didnt get a room until 8 pm. When I attempted to get a compensation, they offered a very minimal %, and when I checked out they had charged me everynight though I paid in full thru expedia. Staff was inexperienced. I wouldnt stay at this location."
"The property was very nice and well maintained. The breakfast was really good and for $5 a person, we definitely got our moneys worth. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. The interior hot tub was out of service but the exterior was working. The AC was a little finicky but we didn’t need to use it often. Our family enjoyed the stay."
"The property was conveniently located to GTNP and the airport. It is also out of the busyness of the town. I appreciated the laundry facilities and the coffee/snacks."
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The view around this property is amazing. It’s an authentic mountain motel type feel. All was clean and comfortable. Walkable to things in town and some fun amenities available at the hotel. We’d definitely stay again."
"The room was clean, the staff were polite, but there were 2 things that I feel need to improve: have a microwave and the hot water system.
We spent there 2 nights, and the first morning we got up a little later, so when we decided to take a shower it was almost 10 am; the first person had barely warm water, but the other two did not. I called the front desk to let them know, they sent a very nice staff member, and she let me know that I needed to try to take a shower way before 10 am because at 10:00 the hotel stars doing laundry, and their laundry system and rooms shared the same water heaters, so their laundry equipment uses most of the hot water. I truly feel that there is NOT any reasonable excuse not to have hot water! We paid to have a comfortable and clean space to spend 2 nights and that includes having hot water and taking a shower at the time that is convenient for us. Everything else was fine."
"Checking in at 3pm was very much needed and convenient for us after driving 7 hours. The property was clean and quiet. We walked to Million Dollar Cowboy in town square for dinner and the Rodeo right from our cabin! The bed was comfy and stone floor shower felt good on my tired feet! Nice to have a two burner stove to cook eggs and bacon for breakfast and a small picnic table on the front porch to eat and drink our coffee. Young lady at the front desk was very friendly and professional (I believe she mentioned she’s from Kalamazoo, MI.) I really enjoyed this place for my 50th birthday celebration and will be bringing back my extended family."
