"Staff were wonderfully welcome a d even gave us a welcome drink! Lovely clean, modern rooms. The cafe bit was unmanned in the morning despite being open, so a shame we couldn't grab a coffee from the hotel to take away on our drive. Would stay again and a very convenient city centre location (especially for the trains)."

"Overall great hotel location, lovely downstairs area, clean and spacious room. Areas are a little bit worn and could do with some fixing up or TLC. The young lady at front desk wasn't super warm but checked me in mega fast (I don't really like conversation but a friendly hello wouldn't have gone a miss). Overall would stay again, had a great sleep! And lots of parking!"

"A lovely hotel in the grounds of Nottingham University where you can access walks to Highfield Lake. Hotel very clean, we had a delicious breakfast. The bar was quite pricey & we were charged extra for parking which I felt should be included in the hotel price.A good location."

"The hotel was having a technical issue with printing of room keys which meant that the staff were having to open the doors. Staff were very apologetic about this and service was maintained with a smile. The gentleman who showed me to my room supported in directing me to shops and also reminded me of the latch facility on the door, as a lone woman this helped me feel safe and secure despite the door difficulties. My room was clean and tidy and had plenty of space. The pictures of the rooms implied there would be toiletries provided, however it’s only shower gel so I had to purchase shampoo but that might not be an issue for others. Breakfast was offered complimentary due to the door issues. At 9:30 the buffet was not well stocked but it was apparent the staff had been impacted by having to be available to take people to their rooms. This may be different on a normal day. I was very grateful to see the charging stations for the car when I arrived as it meant I did not have to look for somewhere to charge my car."

"Big spacious rooms with enough room for a family of 4 in a room with 3 beds. Very clean and tidy and updated hotel. Bar on site was excellent, food was great...can get busy so book a table if you can."
