Ok for 1-2 days

Good location, but was a bit disappointed with the service (the fridge was not working, WI-FI was not working, they never rough me a new piece of soap and the breakfast looked like it was there for days.... pretty disgusting) The stuff tried to be as helpful as they could though.

Great value hotel in Astana

This is the second time we stay at this hotel and both times we have been very pleased. A note on transportation: Watch out for guys at the airport trying to sell Taxi service. They will want as much as $60 to take you to the hotel. If you call the hotel when you get there or before hand, then you can get shuttle service for about $17 (3000 Tenge). If you just want to use a cab: Right outside the airport are taxis that are labeled as such. Stay with those. Right as you walk out of baggage claim a lot of people will offer taxi service and lie that they are official taxis. Then, when you get to the car it turns out its not a cab but a private vehicle. The real taxi drivers wait outside with their cars.

경제적인 비지니스호텔로 굿!

가격대비 만족합니다. 다만 첫날 조식을 개인접시에 1인분으로 담아 나오는 것에 황당했구요(숙박객이 적어서 그랬는지...), 샤워부스의 배수가 잘 안되는 것도 조금은 당황스러웠습니다

Budget hotel with excellent service

I booked a budget single room at a good 'Astana' price, and the room met expectations - fridge not working, no tea making facilities, one pillow, heating on high. The room was very clean and the desk with powerpoint next to it very acceptable. Linen of good quality and clean. Bathroom accessories appropriate. The staff are very helpful and obliging. They will meet you at the airport and do the shuttle back again (at 2 different prices). The breakfast was better than would be expected at a budget hotel.

Great hotel

Great hotel and very helpful and nice staff. Room was a good sized and there is no noise from the street. Location is good, only few minutes to the Baiterek tower/business centre by bus.

Excellent business/tourist class hotel

This is a great tourist class hotel. I stayed in another hotel in Astana earlier on my trip that had more "stars" but the Oasis was much better in terms of quality, cleanliness, and comfort. The only knock on it is that it is a bit away from the attractions and business venues, but if you don't mind taking a taxi it's a great option for business travelers.

The "NO" hotel - bad service

Very poor experience. Bedroom is very small. Beds are hard as if sleeping on the floor. No toilet paper ! No safe No mini bar (althoutgh the staff was asking if I took something from the mini-bar ; which would have been difficult considering it was empty) ! No remote control for the ventilation system. Have been waken up by the staff at 7 AM to ask me to give back the iron that I was borrowing at 1 AM !! No cleaning during the week-end. No hot water for a while. Breakfast is disgusting. Coffee : instant powder to mix by yourself. Awful service. No way to return there !

Modest hotel with exceptional staff in the heart of Astana

I stayed at the Oasis for two nights on business. The rooms are large and rambling, but dark and reminiscent of that unique style that Soviet architecture contributed to ... concrete! However, the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff more than make up for style. Two staff even accompanied me to the nearby mini-market to help negotiate purchases in Russian. Great experience overall!
