"Staying here was a fluke, and one of the highlights of my three visits to the Allgau region, in fact I would go as far as to say my three trips to Germany. I should point out I enjoy climbing in the mountains of NZ, so the rolling hill country that this area covers was a great relaxing way to meet both the country and the people. The hutte system allows people to stay in near hotel like accomodation, while being able to enjoy either short or long walks with views to suit. Stop after an a couple...

Top Oberallgäu Hotel Reviews

das flax allgäu

10/10 Excellent

"Such a wonderful hotel. The design is outstanding, with clean lines and so many interesting features. It was clean throughout and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. We will stay again. Danke schon und bis spatte"

Hotel Bayerischer Hof Kur & Sporthotel

8/10 Good

"Wir werden den Bayrischen Hof wieder buchen. Diesmal hat uns enttäuscht - obwohl wir vorgängig nach gefragt haben - , dass wir nur ein Zimmer im Haupthaus (inkl. Lift) und ein Zimmer im 2. Stock im Nebenhaus (ohne Lift) zugeteilt erhielten. Das Hochschleppen des Gepäckes war ungewohnt."

Engelswerk Allgäu

10/10 Excellent

"Great place, excellent staff and even better breakfast! Bit of a problem booking through Expedia though as it's a place without reception, and the email details hadn't been passed on for online check-in! The amenities quoted were also in the local area, but not the hotel itself. However, thd place is so nice, I'd have no second thoughts about going there again!"
