We were very happy with our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean. SmartTV, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave all worked great. They made our one night stay more convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again!

Saw this on Motel Rescue and decided to make a weekend of the springs and antique shopping with my husband and daughter. It was a wonderful stay! I wish we could’ve had a balcony with a better view but we will definitely be back!

This motel has been renovated so well! It's updated with a nice deck on the backside to enjoy the Suwannee River and has a wonderful gathering yard on the river for guests to enjoy. They've done a great job with this property and are very friendly. I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to enjoy the area and the river!

Location & charm!

The location on the river was beautiful & perfect for my husband who loves to fish. The cabin we stayed in was very charming & clean. The staff were all very nice & helpful. We have family (snowbirds) that stay nearby so we will be staying here again!

Quaint little hotel on The Swanee River!

Great little motel. Rooms were very clean and stocked with essential items. Pool was nice and even had friends come by to swim and visit. It’s has a beautiful view of the Swanee River . Also has a nice fire pit and setting areas to enjoy the outdoors. Owners were very nice and eager to help with anything. Definitely a nice spot for a good night sleep. We will be back.

Wonderful place ! Unique, nostalgic what I call Old Roadside Travel Lodge ver reminiscent of the 50/60’s. Very well cared for and kept. The “backyard “ by the river is great. Fire pits, small pavilion, different sitting areas, huge dock at the water. I stayed in a very newly remodeled room. Very nice-not what I was expecting. Comfy bed, large shower, little terrace off the back just right for morning coffee, although I used the pavilion since it was raining and wanted to be closer to the water. Very friendly and hospitable staff !! Definitely look forward to staying there again ! Well done, Suwannee Gables 👏👏👏

It is a convenient location close to the state park with a wonderful backyard overlooking the Suwannee River. There is a wonderful Sweet shop across the street from the motel and some excellent dining up and down the highway.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Bring your own toilet paper and kleenex. The tp was EXTREMELY thin, no kleenex. Also, a deck of cards. The wifi was sporadic and so no tv. Beautiful setting on the Suawnee River, but alittle noise from US 19. The pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. The beds are comfortable and the room was extremely clean and updated. I would go back.
Not to be political, but we saw the American flag everywhere and everyone was extremely polite and nice.
