Very clean, spacious family room. We had a small kitchen which proved very useful as there aren't many places open for an evening meal (seem to be open for main meals at lunchtime) but it's very close a a really good supermarket. Helpful staff. Pretty town to explore, good brewery/restaurant close by. Easy walking distance to the train station which gets you to Kutna Hora and Prague.

2 night stay here was as smooth as we could have hoped for. We checked in very late after hours - 02:00 - and staff kindly left our keys in a secure lock box for self check in, all helpfully sorted via a simple email beforehand. They also sorted us a parking space directly in front of the property (additional parking is available behind the hotel too).
Rooms were fresh, well equipped and bathroom looked newly renovated. All very comfortable and high quality - better quality than the 3 hotels in...

We got a call on our way there to check all was OK. When we arrived we were checked in super-efficiently and with great understanding that we were really tired. We were asked for dietary requirements so that we had suitable food for breakfast, which were there just as requested next morning. We were asked about dinner and a table was reserved at a nearby restaurant. We subsequently cancelled (1 person asleep) and were given plates and cutlery and glasses for things I got from a nearby...

Check in was done ahead of time. Ok for us, but I had to help another couple later who hadn’t. The apartment was beautifully clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There are teabags and 2 coffee pods to start with. We didn’t use the cooking facilities but there appeared to be everything you might need. The TVs weren’t connected to the internet so not smart TVs. There are 9 parking spaces in front of and adjacent to the building, good for motorcycles. It’s a 7-8 minute walk to St...

Great location next to Sedlec Ossuary which meant I was first person to enter in the morning and had it to myself for 20 minutes. Queues later in the day.
Fantastic hotel for kids as Lego everywhere.
Bed was lower than expected so could feel my knees struggling when getting up.
Lovely place.

Lovely place.
The room was very clean and parking convenient, free during the week, just need to ask for a parking permit. Staff were very friendly and accommodating as we were English-speaking, not Czech.

Lovely classic hotel , renovated to look like it would of been like years ago , good food and friendly staff. The only downside is the lack of parking as they only have 7 or 8 spaces reserved for them on the road

Alchemy Museum and Fajn park are a couple of the family-friendly sights to visit in the area. In the wider area, you’ll find Detenice Chateau and Sedlec Ossuary.
What’s a holiday rental in Opočnice like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Opočnice. Holiday rentals feature amenities like kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll have everything you want. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive choice for a family getaway.
