Good, solid hotel. Nothing special, but clean and quiet (at least on the sixth floor) and a good breakfast. Definitely recommended (and better than some more expensive places I've stayed). Renovations underway on the lobby, but well managed and not a problem at all.

The Business Inn
We were upgraded to a room that was more like a one-bedroom apartment which was great. The temperature in the room and the hotel in general was too warm even with it being cold and snow outside. Lord Elgin Hotel
Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent location. Walking distance to Parliament buildings, Sparks Street and Byward Market. Hotel is very clean with wonderful staff. I would stay here again.
