"We stayed here in Mid August, 2026.
Pluses: Food was good, staff was polite and helpful.
Serious minuses: Room was beyond tiny, cramped, poorly ventilated.
Wifi was abysmal, on a good day."

"We got there at 1:30pm after the ferry and it wasn’t the warmest welcome. The staff didn’t even ask our names. We were told to come back for the agreed upon 3pm, with no acknowledgement of the room status or if they were working on it.
It left a bad taste.
The rest of the stay was fine, but truly we did not feel welcome."

"The room was amazing. The view was spectacular. The bed was really comfortable. I can't fault the place at all. The only downside was the wifi wasn't working and the 4G was down also. This could have been due to the weather but it made communicating with the host difficult but thankfully we had everything we needed and it was only a two day stay."

"Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist."
