"I had put in a request for 2 beds and for 10 to 15 mins i had to argue with the lady who was getting all of my information that i did not request it even after I showed the receipt and showed how many days we were staying didn't matter till after i kept saying its for 2 beds . The room was not clean nor was the toilet has drug users who were next door and had tried to give us some with kids being in front of them. The sheets had burnt holes in them. "This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. "
