"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. The host then prepared a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal with wine. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy, with a wonderful views over the vineyards. "We only stayed for one night before a morning flight from Carcassonne but wish we could have stayed longer! Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. The house looks like something from the pages of a posh interior design magazine. We had a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Restaurants, supermarkets and the rail station are all a few minutes walk. "The room was clean and staff very helpful. However, the room is very small and the bathroom is a wet room, meaning no separate shower from the rest of the bathroom. The shower wand is not user friendly and we didn’t realize when we turned on the water that it lterally sprayed across the room, wetting our bathroom countertop and personal items. No coffee in the room if you like having a cup first thing in the morning."
