Just stopped overnight, and I admit I was too ambitious about my Italian driving skills. No judgement from these guys - They ferried us back and forth to the car, helped us find parking, and shared some stories about the town. Will come back one day for a proper stay.

Beautifully decorated with great rooms and bathrooms. Streets leading to the hotel are very narrow and may not accommodate larger vehicles. Parking is offsite at a municipal lot, but they do provide a shuttle.

What a beautiful hotel!!! It may be Piccolo but it is GRAND in every aspect of the word. Attention to detail and to serving any needs was beyond any expectations in our 4 week travels through Southern Italy. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with an amazing view of the sea and coastline. We will definitely be back!!! They even attend to watering their plants which in Southern Italy is a rarity.

Great hotel in an amazing location - very central and convenient. Breathtaking views from the terrace and homemade tasty breakfast. I particularly liked my room which was tastefully decorated and had 2 terraces with amazing view! I would have given this property top rating, if the lady at the reception wouldn’t have been so rude and arrogant. First of all, they give you option to choose a bed, and I chose Queen bed (vs two separate beds - was travelling alone). On the arrival I got two beds and a comment that all beds in the hotel are like this. Ok, fine, but when why would you ask your guest to choose? Then, I checked out 30’ later than the deadline: had an important call for work I couldn’t cut short). At 11:02 the reception started calling me and in a very rude and arrogant way telling me to get out of the room immediately. This is not a 4 star hotel service, I’m sorry. You pay quite a lot of money for 4 stars (with no parking) to be treated like that. Never had such a bad check-out experience. Plus, as I said, they didn’t give me the room I booked and the bed I asked for, so 30’ checkout delay could have been treated in a better way. I was even ready to pay an extra fee for late check-out if asked (was my bad indeed), but was never offered. Just arrogant tone. Apart from that - really amazing hotel and facilities. Really everything was great! It’s a shame people on reception don’t know what 4 star hotel service should look like 😬

Gentilissima Signora Natalia,grazie per aver scritto di noi, sapevamo che non avrebbe tardato a farlo.Prima di tutto lei ha scritto delle cose non vere poichè è stata contattata in camera per la prima volta alle 11.15 per ricordarle che il checkout è entro le ore 11 e ha risposto che stava sistemando i bagagli (I'm packing). Dopo 20 minuti è stata ricontatta e con voce scocciata ha detto che sarebbe scesa in un minuto. In realtà il pagamento è stato fatto alle 11.45 e pagando con carta di credito l'orario non è contestabile. Detto ciò, il late check out non è stato da lei richiesto ma lei di prepotenza ha voluto occupare la stanza per 45 minuti arbitrariamente. Bastava semplicemente chiedere o dire che aveva una chiamata di lavoro e le avremmo concesso di rimanere. Lei ha prenotato una camera matrimoniale ed ha avuto una camera matrimoniale. Tutti i nostri letti sono con doppi materassi uniti. Avere 2 lettini è cosa ben diversa. E comunque avrebbe potuto benissimo dirlo al suo arrivo che preferiva un materasso unico e non 2 uniti. Probabilmente lo ha comunicato alla sua partenza, dopo essersi stizzita della situazione. Nella descrizione dell'hotel è ben descritto che non si ha parcheggio essendo in centro storico ma che offriamo un servizio di macchina elettrica in determinati orari.Ci dispiace che abbia avuto un così sgradevole servizio al check out, forse ha confuso la formalità con arroganza. Non ha nemmeno risposto al saluto di buongiorno.Chi ha scritto questa risposta sono io, Vincenza responsabile di ricevimento, che ho effettuato il check out stamattina. Se è andata via con questo brutto ricordo della nostra struttura, Le chiedo scusa. I clienti sono i benvenuti sempre, ma vi sono delle regole da rispettare per la buona riuscita di un soggiorno, sia da parte del team che deve impegnarsi al massimo per soddisfare il cliente, sia da parte del cliente. First of all :Very nice staff.especially the lady at breakfast the room was excellent with two small balconies. There was a water bottle in the mini bar which was refilled free of charge if you asked. Furthermore, I have to mention that the breakfast on the terrace of the hotel was a nice start to the day. The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet location and is still very close to the nightlife.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel. Painfully restored and decorated with style and flair. Our room (16)had 3 terraces and views galore! All facilities including roof deck and the breakfast terraces were pristine and anointed with many amenities. People were outstanding. And most accommodating. Did I mention a delicious breakfast spread?

This property was perfect for all our needs. Kala made a wonderful breakfast and was so helpful with all our needs. All the staff was very helpful and the transport in the golf cart from the car park was perfect. If you don’t know parking in the white is free and the blue you must pay in the pay box

Very well-run Hotel with fantastic staff and lodging! We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Our hotel-arranged taxi was waiting for us at train station, the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts by the hotel could not have been more perfect! Pizzo is a small town but we loved it so much we doubled our time there (despite the rain).

We just spent three weeks in Italy, and our favorite stay was at the piccolo grand Hotel in Pizzo. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the decor was excellent, the manager extremely gracious and fluent in English, and the breakfast overlooking the ocean was the best part of all.

The staff at this hotel are the ultimate ambassadors for Pizzo. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Rooms are small but efficient. Close to all amenities in the centre of the city.

We liced to stay at Grand Piccolo Hotel. Although in midst the old town, the nights are very quiet: rooms and also windows with excellent phonic insulation. The beds are very comfortable, and the roof terrace and the view from it are overwhelming. Thank you to all the staff

In the heart of Pizzo Town.
Pizzo is a beautiful Town in Tropea. Ord Town with closeness to everything for tourists. Musik in the square, Pepe Nero was a good restaurant 200 m from Hotel. Inconvinent is lack of parking, but they solved IT with a Shuttle .it worked also, but then plan what not to leave in the car. We did not have time for breakfast, but with good morningstaff We could have hot drinks , a cake and yougurt.

Excellent hotel in centre of Pizzo
Lovely hotel, unique design and a pleasure to stay in. Great breakfast on a fabulous rooftop terrace. Room very comfortable, bathroom great with fun shower! Must be hard to beat in Pizzo.

Extraordinary hotel in Pizzo
Extraordinary and luxurious hotel in the historic center of Pizzo. Solid construction and nearly soundproof, with beautiful glass elevator. Classy decorations of cheerful blues and yellows perfectly suited to sea and sky theme, and thoughtful details like bergamot-scented toiletries. Ample array at breakfast on the scenic terrace with some homemade items- we especially enjoyed the bergamot cake. Warm welcome, and electric cart to shuttle luggage from the parking lot.
