"This Studio 6 is very convenient when the Round Top Antiques show is on. This was my 3rd stay there since December. The staff is lovely, very friendly and welcoming. It’s very close to restaurants and convenient stores. That’s the positive part.
Here’s the downside. They need to learn about hygiene and cleanliness. When I checked in on Friday, I soon realized that my room had not been cleaned thoroughly. The sheets had not been changed, the side table had not been wiped, the bathtub still had hair in it and the floor was filthy.
Not only did I have to change the sheets on my bed myself, the cleaning lady came to my room the next day, touched every single thing in there but never picked up the dirty sheets that were in a corner of the room.
Furthermore , there was a huge wine stain just outside the elevator that wasn’t cleaned the whole time I was there and the trash can in front of the hotel was full (overflowing) from day one and never emptied.
Back in December I suggested to the owner/manager that the inside of the elevator should probably be wiped and he agreed. Three months later, it has not been done.
I like this hotel and the people who work there but if they want this new location to hold up, they need to care about the place and give it a little bit more love.

"Nice location and easy parking. Staff were very nice. Air conditioning, microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge & freezer all worked great. It was quiet at night. Only con is the bathroom was dated. Excellent accommodations for the price! I will stay there again 😃"
"It was like staying in a college apartment from 1990. I suspect that this property does not have enough steady customers to properly invest in the property. Instead, they do what they can to maintain it.
Pros: Giant room suitable for a small apartment, Clean bathroom where the shower/tub area looked remodeled. Comfortable enough bed. Large TV. (Kitchenette, if you want it. However, they had a full-size stove/oven and refrigerator. That blocks off large parts of the kitchen.)
Cons: The lack of hot water. It was not like they were out. Rather, it was set so low that it was slightly above room temperature. It made it difficult to get soap off of hair/skin.
Old, outdated laminate floor that was no longer stuck to the concrete. A very old/stained couch. A plethora of furniture that seemed like parental hand-me-downs from the 1980’s. The smoke detector that needs its battery replaced. The visible bait traps. The necessary security lights for the parking lot being so bright that even with the curtains drawn, light is easily visible. A sparse breakfast options, even for a continental breakfast. The broken juice dispenser.
