"We had the most amazing time at Taria Resort. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to the 4 bed villa (we had booked the 3 bed). "Great weekend trip away for my Ironman"

"Great hotel and perfect location for our event Ironman 70.3 Poreč! Smaller room than expected (compared to photos) but soon got used to it and we used the balcony to store the bike. Comfortable bed, with adequate storage and spacious bathroom. Daily room service to replenish towels and hotel service for extra pillows and anything else you may need. We had breakfast and dinner included - both services had a wide variety of foods at the buffet that were all delicious. They even had an earlier breakfast service provided on race day which was greatly appreciated! The chefs were there to cook fresh food to keep everything replenished, and the staff were always there to help tidy away. Me and my husband enjoyed trying out the different foods each night, specially the deserts! One thing we made use of was the sauna and wellness area which you could use for 2 hours per day. We used the Sauna and steam room a lot, specially post race. Towels, water and tea were provided. My husband also used the Gym there on the first night which we were pleasantly surprised by, lots of free weights, machines and a squat rack. One highlight for me was being able to get my hair done by the hotel hair dresser, I wanted some french plaits done for the race and she managed to squeeze me in the day before. Very reasonably priced and friendly. Overall really happy with our stay, friendly staff and great experience. Such a lovely place to stay, we would come back!"

"The hotel had recent remodeling and located in a historic building. We had a very nice comfortable room facing the sea. The hotel is a short distance to a charming old town and 5 min walk to the ferry if you plan a trip to Venice . The staff is very helpful and super nice . The only problem is that the hotel is listed as having it is own parking which is not exactly true. Only local residents can access that area by car which we didn’t know and didn’t receive instructions and of course Google Maps didn’t know it either. We finally figured it out when the hotel staff came out in a golf cart and drove us around to a different parking location."

"Room was spacious, had a double bed plus camp bed. Tv, balcony looked onto green space which was welcome in the heat. Bathroom was small. Breakfast buffet excellent, dinner was well presented, a good choice. Nice surprise to have received lunchtime snack. Bar light and comfy or able to sit on the veranda over looking the pool or the cove entrance in the distance. Car park was full when I arrived, but 200m away there is a large “overspill” car park so this was welcome. Staff friendly and many families. Facilities nearby include bars, restaurants and sporting facilities."

"Excellent stay! Great suites - we were family of four ;2 kids - 4 and 8 Do book dinner and breakfast - all you can eat buffet- it’s excellent and it’s surrounded by a big playground and children can play while you have dinner/breakfast; champagne and wine/beer included in meals:) Beach is across the street - it’s a public beach - not what we used to in the USA and Mexico/DR however the water is perfect ; you will need your water shoes Croatia has really impressed us- the food, the service, the quality!"
