The food and drink were excellent, especially at breakfast and dinner. The pool and fitness facilities were superb: despite the large number of guests here in August, nothing seemed overcrowded. My boyfriend and I had a lovely week at this hotel. We were self catering apartments (although this was a surprise to us, I thought we were room only!) so did not try breakfast or dinner however the hotel is lovely, clean, staff are polite and friendly. Large pool area, never once struggled to get a sunbed (in July!). Pool bar well stocked and reasonably priced for the area (soft drink 3.30). Free pool towels daily. Free wifi worked well. Secrets Villamil is a fantastic hotel, high quality, and very relaxing environment. The staff are all friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room with large balcony compared to what we had originally booked. The room was very spacious and comfortable and like the rest of the hotel it was spotlessly clean.
We don't normally take the half board option but were delighted we did as the food selection, quality and dining service was excellent...

What a gem! Beautifully refurbished hotel. Ultra modern and quirky design. Staff go above and beyond. Great welcome on arrival with champagne and chocolates on a private balcony. We were upgraded to a balcony double room overlooking the bay. Spacious and luxurious the circular bath was a nice surprise. We would definitely revisit.

Great location right in the centre - easy 10 minute stroll to Cathedral. Huge choice of restaurants, peaceful bars and shops everywhere, you could eat somewhere different every night. Food ranges from quick tapas and food on the go to fine dining. If you like seafood, head to the restaurants by the side of the Cathedral.

The room overlooked the sea and was very clean and comfortable. The Breakfast spread was probably the best I have experienced over the past few years. Everything was "topped up" by very efficient and friendly staff. Real orange juice was on tap....beautiful.
Special mention to Sara in the Bar and the Chambermaid who kept our room so fresh and clean each day.
Taxi or bus was only 50 yards away, and the sea front was a cycle friendly promenade. Overall the hotel was quiet and very relaxing...
