"I ate in the bar, it was overpriced and small portion. I'll probably stay in the hotel again if the other hotels are booked out but I will eat somewhere else."

"Despite a slight hiccup with our original room (which was instantly resolved)we had an absolutely fantastic 6 nights stay The room was large and had everything you needed and kept spotless All of the staff are really helpful with great service Breakfast was good and plentiful Ideally situated and we will certainly be returning so thank you to everyone at the silken Thomas"

"This was a room stay only but in the evening there is a working bar that serves food downstairs. No breakfast provided but lovely hotel right across the road recommend by the Cumningham Rooms for anyone wanting breakfast. Fast food outlets near by. Bar is a little dark busy and traditional Football game on when we arrived to our delight. Upstairs were a pleasant surprise lovely large tradiotionally decorated room. Nice shower brilliant clean towels large private bathroom. TV, coffee machine etc provided brilliant powerful floor standing fan because the weather was very hot for the time of year. Live music downstairs but it didnt spoil our evening. Large Comfy beds slept very well. Definitely recommend"

"What an amazing stay, even if it was only for 1 night! From the ambiance of the castle, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, we enjoyed every minute. The only minor disappointment would be the size of the bed in the carriage house room, which was small for a couple (it seemed like a double or twin, definitely not a queen size). Other that that we had a very enjoyable visit."
