We chose here to start out on a coast to coast cycle. Could not have been better looked after, superb attention from the staff. Food was excellent, room was immaculate.

Parking was easy & we didn’t use the car again during our stay. The hotel is great for exploring the city. We would recommend it for a short stay in the city.

This was the Hilltop hotel which has come a long way since its heyday. The car park is good for a first impression but the broken hotel board on the building as you go to reception tells a different story.
