"Very nice but they do need different food options "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds were beautiful. I would say the gym was adequate but nothing special for equipment. The room was very big, but has a lot of space that was poorly utilized. There could have been more storage for clothes and personal belongings. In our room one of the windows/motors for the automatic blinds was popping over and over again during the day. Our door didn’t shut on its own. These were small issues overall. The bed was very comfortable and the room automation was a great feature. Resort food was an 8/10. We had an excellent time and we will go back."

"Great property. Good location. (Little loud) Rooms clean. Housekeeping services excellent. Front desk nice. Early check in late check out for a fee. AC in room works great. Breakfast was awesome. Breakfast peoples are really friendly. Only one complain. Elevator did not work. We had a great stay. "

"Hotel Rio Malecon is a great hotel! Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant, Coexist Bistro (Italian/Mexican). The property itself is a little dated but the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfy and the air conditioning works great! There is a unique pool and lounge area in the courtyard too! You can't beat the location right on the malecon with tons to do and see all within walking distance. See you soon!"
