Bambuda Castle - Hostel

"Really beautiful place surrounded by mountains and nature. The atmosphere is peaceful, quiet, and very zen. As soon as you enter the reception area, you’re welcomed by the lovely scent of pine oil, which immediately gives the place a relaxing feel. The staff were very welcoming, polite, and friendly throughout my stay. My room was beautiful, spotless, and had an amazing mountain view. I really loved the overall design and atmosphere of the property. Everything was almost perfect, except for one small detail: there was a vase of badly wilted peace lilies sitting in the dining room for all three days of my stay. In such a beautiful and carefully designed place, it really stood out and killed the mood a little every time I saw it. 😅 Fresh flowers—or simply removing the wilted ones—would have made a big difference. Other than that, my stay was wonderful. A beautiful, peaceful place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the mountains and nature. I would definitely recommend Bambuda!"

"Great location, great views from the king suite, it rained all day we were there and went and grabbed food and a coffee from the cafe/restaurant downstairs, it was lovely. Staff was kind, attentive and courteous. We had a great stay."

"The rooms are very spacious n comfortable. Breakfast is offered at a beautiful restaurant near by. The front desk people were very helpful w suggestion, they even coordinated the day trips. The air conditioner unit was a must, helped to sleep well at night."

"Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort, Esthefany and the entire staff were very accommodating and made certain that all of our needs were met. The resort offers a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere and the views were picturesque. We enjoyed a private boat tour of the island which included snorkeling, dolphin watching, and relaxation at the beach and we also participated in the zip line experience. Orbitz did not provide an option to add on the transfer from the airport to the boat tender (less than 5 mins away) but there was a gentleman from the resort that shuttled our group to the tender upon arrival. Great experience!!!"

"The property was going through a remodel/construction project. The restaurant/bar area was nice. The pool wasn't as big as expected based on the pictures; more than two couples in the pool felt crowded. Outside of that, the room was nice. The view was perfect. The staff was amazing."
