"Just dont bother
Not a 4 star property
Rooms upstairs are run down, bathtoom full of spiders
Bed was full of ants.
Ants on the table in the morning where the tea and coffee was next to the food.
Shower was scoulding hot and cold water tap was scoulding hot got told nothing they can do as its due to the heatwave!!!"

"The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area."

"Lots of character, authentic, old inn (original part built circa 1690) set in beautiful countryside. Some parking on site at rear, but one evening we had to park on the roadside. (It is a quiet road so OK.) There is a nice seating area in a garden in front of the Inn. Nice ambiance overall. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The double room we stayed in was sufficiently quiet and of an acceptable size. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area."

"The menu was limited, expensive and some dishes were poor. The room “Brewery” was small, limited storage, no fridge, tired decor and UNBEARABLY HOT. However must commend the staff for working through the heatwave. Particular thanks goes to Courtney who was extremely helpful and friendly.
In summary hotel should investigate the installation of air conditioning or the use of portable air conditioning units for the summer months. The food menu/prices should be reviewed, The decor in the Brewery...

"I had a truly exceptional stay at The Snooty Mehmaan.
The experience began even before I arrived, thanks to a thoughtful courtesy call to confirm my check-in.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with genuine warmth, and the staff kindly escorted my luggage to a room that was both stunning and impeccably clean.
The highlight, however, was the evening meal. Every dish featured incredibly fresh ingredients and was presented with real elegance.

"We (family of 4) stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier! Our two-storey cottage was spacious, and well appointed with gorgeous linens and bath products.
The complimentary breakfast far exceeded the ‘standard’ continental breakfast and the kitchen serves delicious meals for dinner.
All the staff (Luca, Martina and Finn) were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here and eating a hearty pub meal!"

"The property was well positioned. The Cotswolds are BUSY, so it was great to have somewhere to stay out of the busyness. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was a great size (room 2). No aircon which was an issue in the latest heatwave. The staff did try to help by putting a fan in the room. We used the restaurant for dinner and there was a wide selection of choices. This can also be said about breakfast."
